Styled Shoot: A 1920s Romance

Last month I was asked to be part of a dreamy 1920s inspired shoot. Who doesn’t love a bit of old-fashioned romance?

Led by the incredibly talented Leah Kua, the shoot brought together some amazing vendors, all of whom channeled their inner-Gatsby to bring the concept to life. Leah shot this series of images entirely on film, giving these photos a certain quality which makes me want to look at them over and over again.

You know those images that have a mysteriously beautiful, almost ethereal quality about them? The ones that make you take your finger off the scroll wheel? The ones where you don’t know why, but you find yourself  pausing a while, trying to take it all in? Likely its been shot on film, Leah tells me.

The florals for this shoot featured one heck of a bouquet – oversized and full of texture. I loved the end result so much I had a hard time seeing it leave the studio!
